Scholarships for Students

To progress through the Chinese education system, it is necessary for nomadic children to pay for both schooling and living costs, as they have to move away from their parents in order to go to school. Most nomadic parents earn less than €1.500 a year, which makes a school fee of €250 per child, plus living costs, impossible.

Thanks to a grant of ASML Foundation in Veldhoven, Holland, and donations from many of our private donors, 50 children are now able to attend school. For the next five years we would like to extend to 250 children. A scholarship of €350 provides education, housing and food. Now all levels of education will be in reach for nomad children, not only primary schooling.
