New Home For School Children

The days of the tent school are over

Until recently the children in our primary school attended class in a tent. Now, thanks to donations from many young people in the Netherlands, we have bought a house and transformed it into a simple and efficient classroom. There are no tables or chairs, but children don't care about that. They are more excited to learn how to read and write and now it is easier in this warm and cosy house.

In 2010 we would like to make primary education available for more children in the Sershul region through the Literacy for Livelihood Project.
